Capacity and cash-aware purchasing
Compare the full material requirement for open orders with what still needs purchasing action after confirmed cutting and order coverage. The common sheet-material pool remains a separate purchasing estimate; it never changes a job's material coverage.
Running purchasing record
Rework / RMA jobs remain visible for production tracking, but carry $0.00 customer price and $0.00 sales value. Customer-paid work belongs on a new PO, not an RMA rework line.

These are example settings, not live JobBOSS data. For a batch dated 8/19/2026, use one shared example range of 4/19/2026 through 4/19/2027 wherever the report has a date range. Replace all example dates with the range chosen for your actual batch.
Generate each report, choose Export As → CSV, and confirm that the download is a Detail report with job-level rows and its original column headers—not a summary-only report, PDF, or screenshot. Save each CSV in the same dated import folder.
Report: Orders → Backlog Summary. The generated report should list open job line items and open quantities.
Example saved file: Backlog Summary - Detail Report 8_19_2026.csv
Report: Shop Floor Control → Production Summary. This is the setup for routing and work-center progress.
Check the CSV: It retains WCOperCodes and the other exported headers. A blank WorkCenter value can be normal for this configuration.
Report: AR → Unbilled Shipment Summary. Select processed shipments even if some have since been billed.
Check the CSV: It has individual shipment rows and packing-list details. Do not turn on Unbilled Only as a filter; that can omit processed shipments already billed.
Backlog Summary - Detail Report 8_19_2026.csv.After the seven operational files are saved: open Backlog Status → Import Shop Reports and select all seven CSV files together. Add Job Number Breakdown and Work Center Breakdown to the same selection whenever capacity hours need to be refreshed.

Continuously evaluates shipment performance, backlog demand, routing pressure, work-in-process, and schedule risk. Shipment history is weighted most heavily because board movements are not always current.
